Order by Wednesday, 8pm for Thursday pickup.
Chefs on Call is a special nonprofit project incubating immigrant neighborhood chefs. You may order either homestyle South Asian or West African meals.
Meet Your Chefs:
Aissatou is your West African chef. She was trained in her home country of Guinea as a tech professional but stays in touch with her heritage by drawing upon her passion for making homemade food for her fellow expats and those new to African food. Her cooking supports the two young children she was forced to leave behind in Guinea when she escaped the country to avoid the consequences of oppressive policies toward independent women.
Maryam is your South Asian chef. She is a professional chef who is able to cook all styles of food, including American-style, heart healthy. She was granted asylum in the U.S. after a lifetime cooking in Pakistan and the Middle East. A food artist, she delights in making decorative cakes of any kind for special occasions as one of her catering offerings, along with a large assortment of finger foods perfect for large gatherings.
Orders are currently for Thursday evenings only, including, for this order, this Thursday, June 11, 2026. Pick up will be from 5–7pm at the Windsor Terrace Food Coop.
